Nestled in the heart of the CBD, in a heritage-listed courtyard, you’ll find the brand new Garden Stage at Since I Left You. For one Sunday each month, this enchanting space will host The SILY Sessions: a series of intimate boutique music events showcasing a diverse mix of Sydney’s most prolific musical talent.
But this isn’t just your average gig. The crowd will enjoy complementary cocktails and gourmet nibbles, the industrial courtyard will be styled up with art and light installations, and the musicians won’t sound like they usually do. You see, noise and capacity restrictions (max. 50 people) dictate everything at SILY, so performers
will be forced to step outside their comfort zones and create stripped-back sets to suit the space. Think
experimental arrangements of favourites, those songs you would normally never hear live, exclusive new material and inventive acoustic covers.
For those not lucky enough to snag a ticket, The SILY Sessions will be professionally recorded and videoed, and the material released through the Since I Left You website. The end result will be an ever-expanding archive of content for Sydney’s avid music lovers to tap into.
